To all Freemen's residents

Sixty two residents have signed up on the 4th December. It's very good. Thank you for taking time.
Please, read the message from Mr Andrew Gahagan. We keep in touch with him and MasterPoint. We hope changes will happen soon and in all cases we will keep you informed on the website and by email.

Message from Residential Services Systems Manager

I would encourage as many people as possible to attend the usergroup as this will be an opportunity to talk with the providers and high level staff within the University about any issue surrounding the ResNet service we also use this to outline new improvements to the service that we are planning.

Can I say that I’m disappointed that you feel the service is not up to a standard you feel adequate, I have now taken this up with our suppliers and they will be providing me with feedback shortly.

The University works closely with Masterpoint to provide the service and we will be investigating this issue and hopefully providing a resolution in due time of which I will keep you informed.

Mr Andrew Gahagan, Residential Services Systems Manager

What do we want ?

We, the residents at Freemen's Common Houses, protest against the poor Internet quality that is provided to us. It does not comply with the "broadband type internet" specified in the Accommodation Handbook as it is insufficient to browse simple web pages at certain times of the day.

We ask the University of Leicester for comply with it's Accommodation Handbook and provide us with a broadband type Internet.

A report at the Accomodation Office has been made but they need more complaints to do something. So, just take 2 minutes of your time and sign up, it's easy :)
